The Port of Truro joined forces with neighbouring harbour authorities to mark the 80th Anniversary of D-Day on 6th June. A procession of 80 boats snaked its way around the River Fal passing embarkation points used including Tolverne and Turnaware. On Tuesday the 4th June 2024 the barge TMS Searider arrived at Lighterage Quay, Truro with a transformer loaded onboard. On arrival the barge was promptly offloaded, ahead of it onward transport, by road, to Indian Queens.

Port of Truro welcomed the largest three masted schooner ‘Atlantic’ on 2nd June. A painstaking recreation of the William Gardner-designed winner of the 1905 Kaiser’s Cup, she visited as part of the Richard Mille Cup where guests attended a function at Trelissick.
