D-Day 80th Anniversary

The Port of Truro joined forces with neighbouring harbour authorities to mark the 80th Anniversary of D-Day on 6th June. A procession of 80 boats snaked its way around the River Fal passing embarkation points used including Tolverne and Turnaware.

Commemorative flags were also hoisted on the Prince of Wales Pier where troops were also embarked.

Bude Sea Lock

Following the recent sand clearance from Bude Sea Lock ‘Mantis’ locked out on Thursday 15th May. The lock is now operational until late September for local and visiting craft. Please contact the Harbour Master for more information.
