Port of Truro
The port offers safe deep water lay-up berths for shipping of all types and sizes in a fantastic sheltered location on Cornwall’s south coast (UK) close to major shipping lanes. A full range of services are available from nearby Falmouth including bunkers, fresh water, ship chandlers, towage and waste disposal. In terms of re-activation, A&P Falmouth has mobile repair teams available and the ships can also move to their nearby shipyard for more extensive works.

Newquay Harbour
Newquay Harbour is a fishing and pleasure Harbour, there are tidal moorings, operating seasonal activities and all year-round fishing vessels.

Port of Truro
The Port of Truro is 2,500 acres in size and has a significant number of leisure moorings together with visitor’s pontoons and quays. The entire Fal estuary holds approximately 4,500 moorings, 1500 of which are located within the port of Truro.

Penzance Harbour 'Gateway to the Isles of Scilly'
Penzance has regular passenger and freight sailings to the Islands as well as a thriving dry dock and regular fish landings. There are also facilities for recreational craft including a public slipway, parking and up to 240 drying moorings together with visiting yacht berths for a further 50 vessels.

Prince of Wales Pier Falmouth
Step aboard the Flushing Ferry, take a trip to St Mawes or enjoy a relaxing coastal cruise from our Victorian era Pier. With 6 landing steps the Pier can also accommodate other commercial craft from sail training to crew transfer.

Cornwall is famous for its stunning coastline and we, as Cornwall Council’s Maritime Service, are proud to be able to manage and maintain many of its ports, harbours and maritime assets.   Explore our website to see what each individual port and harbour has to offer our locals, visitors, fishermen and commercial contractors. In addition, we are also responsible for a number of other maritime functions, such as licensing of boats and boatmen and bylaw enforcement.
