St Ives has received a third fish crane for its harbour, thanks to funding from the St Ives Town Deal Accelerator. Works have been completed to return Steps 2 to operation from week commencing 14th August ahead of the Tall Ships event. The work was undertaken by Cormac with technical support from WSP who have carried out a number of surveys of the Pier structure. Repairs are ongoing on steps 3 and 5 at this time.

In early August a dredge campaign was undertaken at the harbour. Work focused on the area between the Rank Building Outer Wall and Albert Pier as well as the Lighthouse Pier where Scillonian III berths. A hydrographic survey will be undertaken in September and published in the Document Centre.
