Steps 2 re-opened at Prince of Wales Pier

Works have been completed to return Steps 2 to operation from week commencing 14th August ahead of the Tall Ships event. The work was undertaken by Cormac with technical support from WSP who have carried out a number of surveys of the Pier structure.

Repairs are ongoing on steps 3 and 5 at this time.

Farwewell to RNLI Severn Class 17-29 ‘Richard Cox Scott’.

Crowds gathered across Falmouth on Friday 31st January to say farewell to Falmouth’s Severn Class Lifeboat. The Prince of Wales pier flags were hoisted and the RNLI fundraising team were on hand. Pictures – David Barnicoat, Roger Salter and Nicholas Leach.
