Bude Sea Lock closure for winter 2023/24

Operation of Bude’s historic Sea Lock has now ended for the 2023 season. The Inner Gates will be storm Locked in coming days. This is essential to ensure the safety and security of the Inner Harbour during the winter months.

2023 has been a successful year and seen 18 boat movements through the lock. The Sea Lock will be operational between early May and late September 2024. We would be pleased to hear from any visitors or organisations interested in locking into the harbour and hope we will see continued growth in numbers using the facility.
