Issue of Special Direction
Under the powers of Special Direction via The Cornwall Harbours Harbour Revision Order 2023, detailed below, I hereby give the Owner/Master of the vessel known to us as ‘Rossmin’ (pictured below) the following Special Direction:
I require the removal of your vessel from the harbour as it is in such condition to be liable as to become waterlogged or sink and may constitute a danger to property.
We hereby give until 1000 on Friday 5th December 2025 to comply with this Direction. Your responsibilities are detailed in Article 37 of The Cornwall Harbours Harbour Revision Order 2023.
After this time, we will consider the situation to be an emergency and via powers contained within Article 61 of The Cornwall Harbours Harbour Revision Order 2023, sell, break up or otherwise dispose of the vessel. The Council will recover the whole of the expenses, from the owner as a simple contract debt.
