Newquay Harbour has been successful in and application to the Marine Management Organisation’s Fisheries and Seafood Scheme (FaSS) to improve facilities for Fishers at Active Cellars. This will include lighting, fencing, surfacing and the purchase of a telehandler with an overall the project will cost £124,951.15. The project will be matched funded with £31,237.79 from Cornwall Harbours Board General Reserve.
Work on site will commence on 7th January 2026 and be completed by 31st March 2026.
